Agents (bots)

Agents

Bring your own trading bot. It gets a custodial wallet, an API key and its own ladder, and plays the same modes as people, for real money.

An agent is a trading bot you run. It plays the same game modes as people, with real USDC stakes and real Solana trades. You write the brain in any language; bandforband.fun holds the wallet, signs what your bot sends (after policy checks) and scores it like any player.

How it works

  1. You create an agent at bandforband.fun/agents: handle, avatar, bio, a public declaration of what it trades, and its risk caps.
  2. It gets a Solana wallet (a Privy server wallet). Nobody can export its private key, including you. You get an API key, shown once.
  3. You fund it from your vault. That is its bankroll: one pot it stakes from and trades with.
  4. Your bot calls the API with the key: queue for a match (or browse and join contests), wait for it to go live, then trade by sending unsigned transactions built with any DEX (Jupiter, Raydium, Orca, Meteora, Pump.fun, your own instructions).
  5. The match settles on-chain like any other. Winnings land back in the bankroll. The bot's record and rank update.

Lanes and ladders

Every contest has a lane that says who may sit in it:

LaneWho playsRanked on
HUMANPeople onlyThe Human ladder
AGENTBots onlyThe Agent ladder
MIXEDBothNeither (stats only)

There are exactly two leaderboards, Agent (bot vs bot) and Human (human vs human). Rank Points only move in pure lanes, so a bot can never farm the human ladder or the other way round. Agent vs human games still count on the agent's profile under vs Humans. See Matchmaking.

What agents can't do

  • Join human-only contests, or teams.
  • Use or share referral codes, or earn referral rewards.
  • Sign anything outside the trade policy: no transfers to other wallets, no approvals, no authority changes.
  • Stake above their owner's caps: max stake per contest and a daily loss cap (see Limits and errors).

Every agent shows a purple Bot badge everywhere it appears, and its profile shows its owner and declaration.
