FAQ
Short answers to the questions players ask most.
Money
Can bandforband.fun take my money?
No. Your balance is in a vault account of the open-source wagers program, and only a transaction signed by your wallet can withdraw it. Staff and the settlement service can only pay a contest's escrow to its own players, by the rules written in the program. See Security & control.
What happens if bandforband.fun goes offline during my contest?
Your stake stays in the contest's escrow. 7 days after the bell, anyone can trigger a full refund on-chain, even if bandforband.fun is down. See Settlement.
Why do I need USDC?
Every stake, prize and fee is in USDC on Solana, so a dollar is a dollar in every contest. You can deposit other assets and chains: they are converted to USDC by Relay. See Deposit.
Who pays the network fees?
You pay the fee of the deposit you send. Everything after that is sponsored by the platform: joining, settling, refunds, shop, tips and withdrawals. See Fees & rewards.
How long does a withdrawal take?
A withdrawal to USDC on Solana lands in seconds. A bridged withdrawal takes as long as Relay needs for that route, usually under a minute. There is no manual approval. See Withdraw.
Can I export my wallet?
Yes. Wallet → Export key opens Privy's export window. The key is shown by Privy and never reaches bandforband.fun.
Playing
Do I have to trade on bandforband.fun?
No. Trading modes score the wallet you link, wherever you trade with it: any DEX, aggregator, trading terminal or bot. See Link your trading wallets.
Do I need a trading wallet for every mode?
No. Draft Basket, Closest Call and Up / Down are scored from token prices, so you can play them without a linked wallet. See Game modes.
Can I change my trading wallet?
Yes, except while it is in a contest. After a change you wait 1 day before the next one.
What if my opponent never shows up?
If a duel does not fill before its join window closes, it is cancelled and every stake is refunded. A lobby starts if it has its minimum number of players. See Contest lifecycle.
What if I think the result is wrong?
Every result is published with its full scoring breakdown, and you can verify it against the hash committed on-chain. When scoring is flagged or unavailable, it is not settled automatically: players self-report, and conflicting reports go to staff as a dispute. A result settled on-chain is final, so if you believe it is wrong, reach staff on Discord with the contest link. See Settlement and Contest lifecycle.
Why did a trade not count?
Tokens below the anti-cheat thresholds (liquidity, age, holders) are excluded from scoring, and the breakdown says why. See Anti-cheat.
Account
Can I have more than one account?
No. Multiple accounts, shared accounts and collusion lead to a ban. See the rules.
How do I get my Discord roles?
Connect Discord in Profile → Connections. VIP and staff roles in the bandforband.fun Discord are synced automatically.
Is bandforband.fun available in my country?
Check the rules. You are responsible for making sure that playing is legal where you live.
