Changelog

What changed in each bandforband.fun release, and how bandforband.fun differs from elitetokens.gg.

1.0: launch

bandforband.fun is the on-chain successor of elitetokens.gg. Everything players liked is still there, rebuilt on top of Solana escrow and real trading instead of game results.

Money

  • Your balance is a USDC vault on Solana owned by the open-source wagers program. There are no more in-app coins, no "locked coins" and no off-chain balance.
  • Every contest and tournament has its own escrow account. Payouts, refunds and fees are on-chain transactions you can inspect.
  • Deposit and withdraw from Solana, Ethereum and Robinhood Chain through Relay. Deposits are swept into your vault automatically.
  • The platform pays the network fees for joining, settling and withdrawing. You only pay the fee of your own deposit transaction.
  • A full transaction log in Wallet → Transactions.

Playing

  • Nine game modes. Six score your real trades (PnL Race, Dollar PnL, Best Trade, Target Race, Last Bag Standing, Same Token Showdown) and three are price calls that need no trading at all (Draft Basket, Closest Call, Up / Down).
  • Duels, lobbies, 2v2 and 3v3 teams, and tournaments in single elimination, double elimination and leaderboard formats.
  • Automatic scoring and settlement. Self-report and disputes remain as a fallback, and staff resolve conflicts.
  • The chain filter (Solana, Robinhood Chain) replaces the old Fortnite / Clash Royale switch.
  • Backing (betting on a player) with a preparation phase before the start. It ships switched off and is turned on after launch.

Progression and shop

  • A ranked ladder replaces ELO: eight tiers of three divisions each, from Copper 1 up, and a top 200 rank, Apex. Every rank has its own emblem, shown next to players across the app; RP, progress, peak rank and RP history stay on the profile. Ranking up grants a one-loss shield, and your first 10 games are placements. See Ranks.
  • XP and levels, achievements, a public feed, trade theses and follows.
  • Leaderboards for the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days and all time. The short windows rank RP gained instead of the rank, and the 24-hour boards refresh every minute.
  • Snipes and Anti-snipe work as before: a Snipe shows who is waiting in an open lobby before you join (one free Snipe a day), and Anti-snipe shows you as "Snipe Protected".
  • New on top: Scout reveals an opponent's live positions during a contest, and Stealth hides yours.
  • VIP, avatars, borders, titles, packs, chests, the rotating shop, presets, streak protect, stats resets, tips and promo codes all carried over, now paid in USDC.
  • X, Discord, Twitch and TikTok are linked through your login, so every social is verified. Profiles show X and Twitch logos; Discord and TikTok stay private. YouTube links were removed.
  • Redeem codes became promo codes with a number of uses. Discord roles for VIP and staff sync automatically.
  • Fewer account pages: Profile opens on Match history, next to Tournament history, Achievements, Activity and Theses tabs, and Settings has Account, Connections, VIP and Preferences tabs, with a shortcut to customize your avatar. Transactions live in the Wallet. The Notifications page is gone; the bell scrolls through your whole inbox and can mark everything read. Old links redirect.
  • The chat drawer has Match, Global and Feed tabs. While you are in a contest, its chat opens first, and a dot marks tabs with new messages.
  • The Arena has custom filters for team size, entry fee range and length, and each sort flips between ascending and descending when you pick it again.
  • The shop is regrouped into Cosmetics, Boosts, Packs, Chests, Stickers and Services; the navbar shows your Snipes and Scouts and offers a Deposit button while your balance is empty.

Under the hood

  • Tournaments were rewritten: brackets advance through a transactional outbox, so double elimination and leaderboard tournaments can no longer get stuck.
  • A new realtime gateway with typed events, sequence numbers and automatic resync after a disconnect.
  • One shared business configuration for every app, checked against the on-chain configuration.
  • Your wallets stay private. Other players, including a Scout, never see your wallet addresses or transaction hashes, and the published results name players by handle only. Your stats and history belong to your account, so they stay the same if you unlink or change your trading wallet.
