Rules & terms

The rules that decide who wins, what counts as cheating, and where to find the terms of service and privacy policy.

These rules are part of the terms of service. The legal texts live in the app so there is exactly one version of them: Terms of service and Privacy policy.

Who can play

  • You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
  • You may not play where skill-based competitions for money are prohibited, or if you are subject to sanctions.
  • One account per person. Multiple accounts, shared accounts and collusion are forbidden.

What counts in a contest

  • Only positions opened during the contest window count. Selling tokens you already held does not score.
  • Tokens transferred into your wallet are ignored. Tokens transferred out count as sold at zero.
  • Unknown, illiquid, brand-new, thinly held or self-deployed tokens never count. The exact thresholds are in Anti-cheat.
  • In the percentage modes, less than $5 of capital actually deployed scores zero, so a tiny moonshot cannot win a big pot.
  • Any transfer or trade with an opponent's wallets flags the contest for staff review.
  • Your linked wallets are locked while you are in a contest, and changing one has a 1 day cooldown.

Results

  • Scoring starts about 20 seconds after the bell, so indexers can catch up.
  • Clean results settle on-chain automatically and are final once settled.
  • When scoring is flagged or unavailable, players can self-report for 30 minutes. Matching reports settle. Conflicting reports or a dispute go to staff, whose decision is final.
  • Ties and cancelled contests are refunded in full, with no fee.
  • Both players can vote to cancel a live duel during its first 2 minutes.
  • If a contest is not settled 7 days after the bell, anyone can refund it on-chain, even if bandforband.fun is offline.

Fair play

Trading must be genuine. Wash trading, trading with an opponent, manipulating illiquid tokens, exploiting bugs or scoring data errors, and any attempt to influence another player's result are forbidden.

Staff may flag, void or re-score contests, refund stakes and restrict the accounts involved. A restricted account can always withdraw its vault balance: bans stop you from playing, never from leaving with your money.

Chat and community

Be respectful. Spam, scams, impersonation and harassment lead to a mute or a ban. A mute blocks chat only. Muted players can buy an early unban in the shop.

Purchases

Shop items are digital cosmetics and boosts with no cash value. They are not refundable once delivered, except where the law requires otherwise.
